Global Automotive Engineering Firm – ADAS Software Module Test / System Test Engineer
A global engineering and technology consulting company is seeking experienced engineers for advanced ADAS software verification and system testing projects within the automotive and mobility industry.
This role focuses on software module testing, system validation, xILS environments, and next-generation autonomous driving technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute and manage MILS / SILS / HILS testing and validation
• Build and maintain xILS test bench environments
• Create and manage test cases for embedded automotive systems
• Support on-site client communication and technical coordination
• Drive test automation and process optimization initiatives
• Verify ADAS-related embedded systems and software modules
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in automotive or mobility industries
• Experience in embedded software/system verification
• Hands-on experience with MILS/SILS/HILS environments
• Experience using Google Test for software module validation
• Understanding of vehicle communication protocols:
CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Ethernet, etc.
• Experience with protocol analysis tools such as:
CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, or similar
• Programming knowledge in C/C++ and Python
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English reading/writing skills
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving ability
Preferred
• Experience with AD/ADAS technologies
• Knowledge of ISO26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR
• Experience in test automation, DevOps, Agile
• ISTQB/JSTQB certifications
• Security testing experience
