Global Technology Consulting Firm – Digital Platform Practice Manager / Senior Manager
A leading global consulting and engineering group is seeking experienced professionals to lead next-generation digital platform and cloud transformation initiatives in Japan.
This role focuses on cloud platforms, multi-cloud networking, API architecture, observability, AI-driven automation, and platform engineering. You will lead projects from strategy and PoC through commercialization and operational optimization while engaging directly with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead cloud and digital platform projects from architecture design to deployment
• Drive pre-sales activities, proposals, technical demos, and client engagement
• Design and optimize API integrations, observability, and automation frameworks
• Lead platform engineering initiatives utilizing AI, Automation, IaC, and CI/CD
• Manage delivery quality, project profitability, and operational governance
• Mentor and develop engineering teams and technical capabilities
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as SRE, AIOps, GenAI, and Platform Engineering
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in cloud or digital platform engineering
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience in multi-cloud network architecture and infrastructure automation
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Python, CI/CD, API integration
• Understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
• Experience leading enterprise delivery, pre-sales, and stakeholder management
• Business-level Japanese and advanced English required
