Location: Tokyo (Minato-ku area)
Working Style: Flextime (Core hours: 11:00–16:00)

Overview

A rapidly growing global digital content platform company is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its expanding business.
The company operates one of the largest digital comic platforms worldwide, reaching tens of millions of users globally.

Responsibilities

• Legal consultation (advertising law, payment services law, consumer protection, personal data protection, etc.)
• Contract review (publishing, licensing, IP-related agreements, advertising, outsourcing, NDA, etc.)
• Regulatory procedures and filings
• Compliance and risk management system development
• Legal training and internal awareness programs
• Legal research (including emerging regulations such as AI-related laws)
• Support for M&A and investment contracts
• Dispute resolution
• Internal and external audit 대응

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years of corporate legal experience in content/digital/media-related industries

Preferred

• Legal certifications (Bar, Judicial Scrivener, etc.)
• Experience with English contracts
• English and/or Korean language skills
